Description
This is the Testor 1/48 Gee Bee racer kit. This airplane competed in the air races of the 1930's.
I added styrene plastic card behind the engine and a copper wire ignition harness too.
The model was painted with Model Master and Testors paints. White is Classic White from Model Master and Red from Testors.
I used the kit's decals. They are really good quality.
I weathered the model with burnt sienna and a bit of black acrylic paints.
Finally, I added a final coat of Model Master Metalizer sealer.
