Description
Here is my Tamiya 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Me 262A-2a that I
finished a few months ago.
I built this model straight from the box except for replacing the
seat with a resin item.
To help with the paint scheme, I used a video from the History
Channel which showed the actual jet. The mottle pattern was very
time consuming to airbrush and took two attempts to get it to look
right.
Model Master paints were used throughout.
I did not have any problem with applying the
kit decals using Microscale's Micro Set.
I am looking forward to the next version of the 262 that Tamiya
will hopefully produce.
