This is AMTech's 1/48 P-40L, using the resin nose conversion. I added some Eduard seat belts and hydraulic brake lines. The canopy's sliding section is a bit thick.

 

My Corsair is painted with Model Masters enamels, lightened the topside panels to simulate sun fading. The canopy was coated with Future, and oil washes were applied to all panels.

I used the kit decals, which were just fine.

 

 

The paint chipping was done with silver pencil.
