Here is my Airfix 1/48 scale Mosquito NF.XVII, based on the Airfix NF.30 kit. This was started as part of HyperScale's Airfix group Build.

The conversion is quite straightforward, as the NF.30 kit includes the upper wing and single-stage Merlin nacelles, plus the universal "bull nose" seen on these NF.XVII Mossies.

The model was built almost straight from the box with the exception of thin-bladed propeller blades from Missing Links, and lead foil harnesses in the cockpit.

My Mosquito was painted using the Aztek A470 airbrush, and was finished with two thin coats of Polly Scale Flat acrylic.
